Water/Wastewater Conveyance Project Engineer (Water Infrastructure): Preparing engineering designs, calculations, specifications, studies, and reports for water and wastewater infrastructure projects with an accent on conveyance design, technical coordination, and construction cost estimation. Focus on directing engineers and technicians, managing project schedules and budgets, sealing engineering documents, and coordinating deliverables with clients and other departments.
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina; Greenville, South Carolina; or Atlanta, Georgia. Hybrid schedule with up to 40% remote work.

What you will do
- Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, engineering reports, and construction cost data for water and wastewater conveyance projects.
- Perform independent engineering studies and clearly present findings and conclusions to clients.
- Direct engineers, technicians, and drafting personnel and review their technical work.
- Coordinate technical matters across departments and maintain project schedules, budgets, and firm standards.
- Serve as Project Manager for projects involving the assigned group, other teams, and clients.
- Investigate new engineering methods, implement improvements, and support professional and client relationships.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience applying standard engineering techniques independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a relevant field.
- Ability to undertake independent engineering decisions and actions.
- South Carolina or North Carolina Professional Engineer license, or the ability to obtain one within 6 months.
