Designer - Water/Wastewater

What you will do

• Prepare and revise civil engineering design documents, construction drawings, exhibits, and technical graphics using CAD platforms.
• Translate engineer direction, markups, and sketches into accurate design documentation with minimal supervision.
• Develop pipeline and facility layouts, including plan and profile drawings.
• Produce hydraulic profiles, process flow diagrams, and P&IDs.
• Perform quality control checks and apply company and agency standards to project deliverables.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams; support field investigations, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and construction documentation.

Requirements

• Associate degree or certificate in Computer-Aided Drafting/Design, Applied Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 7 years of experience preparing civil, transportation, traffic, structural, aviation, H&H, or utility design documents.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads, or comparable CAD platforms.
• Knowledge of applicable design standards, processes, agency requirements, and documentation practices.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, independent working ability, and effective teamwork.
• Availability Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with overtime as needed.
