Equipment Operator II (PCB Manufacturing)

Location: Syracuse-W, NY, United States; onsite at 5823 Widewaters Parkway. Work hours are 6:00 AM–3:30 PM.

Salary: $37,987–$60,044 per year. An annual or quarterly bonus may apply, and alternative shifts may include a shift premium.

What you will do

• Operate manufacturing equipment and produce components according to specifications and written procedures.
• Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain complex equipment used in department operations.
• Perform manual production with hand tools, product inspections, visual checks, measurements, cleaning, deburring, and packaging.
• Track and report department quality and productivity data using SPC software.
• Identify defective materials, unsafe conditions, and production issues, and report them to the supervisor.
• Support process improvements, maintain a clean and safe work area, and train other operators when needed.

Requirements

• High school degree.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in several equipment and product areas, including at least 50% of department operations.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, interpret work orders, perform precise measurements, and work with small delicate components.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Must comply with US export-control requirements; access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to US citizens and US permanent residents.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with 5S, Standardized Work, Kanban, JIT, Kaizen, and Poke-Yoke.
• Experience training other operators or providing operational direction.
