Production Technician 2 - 2nd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $18.00 per hour plus a $1.25 per hour shift differential.

What you will do

• Operate, load, unload, and safely set up assigned production equipment.
• Monitor machine performance through digital interfaces and respond to error messages.
• Troubleshoot machine components, clear jams, and make minor non-mechanical adjustments and calibration changes.
• Perform quality checks, pull finished-product samples, and meet production, quality, and output goals.
• Lead and coach production team members, coordinate labor, and communicate equipment knowledge.
• Palletize finished goods, manage multiple work orders and output stations, and enter machine-performance data into MS Excel when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent certification.
• Ability to speak and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong knowledge of machine components and manufacturing operations.
• 1–3 years of related experience, with the ability to lead one production machine line.
• Ability to multitask, assess obstacles, take corrective action, and read daily machine reports.
• Ability to work overtime beyond the regular schedule when required.
