Light Equipment Operator 1 (Manufacturing)

Location: Dallas, TX, United States; onsite production role

Compensation: USD 33,280–34,320 per year

What you will do

• Operate, load, and unload assigned production equipment, including 227, Alphaliner, and Ferag machines.
• Set up and validate machine components and make minor non-mechanical adjustments.
• Monitor machine performance through computer interfaces, respond to error messages, and record data in MS Excel.
• Perform finished-product quality checks and resolve productivity and quality issues independently.
• Lead and coordinate work on one machine, coach production team members, and report operational improvements to the Production Lead or Supervisor.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards and work overtime when required.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of related experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use machine-specific software and MS Excel.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack and understand machine components and manufacturing operations.
• Ability to multitask, assess obstacles, take corrective action, and read machine reports.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, grip, squat, kneel, carry up to 15 lb, and push or pull up to 40 lb during the shift.
