Entry Level Operator

Location: Wickliffe, Kentucky, United States. Onsite manufacturing role. Relocation assistance is available. Must already be authorized to work in the United States and must not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.

What you will do

• Operate production equipment in the carbon plant and monitor DCS graphics and controls.
• Respond to DCS alarms, maintain stable operation during startup and shutdown, and report process abnormalities.
• Perform minor equipment troubleshooting and standard testing required for the assigned area.
• Conduct risk assessments, authorize maintenance work in the assigned area, and perform Lock Out Tag Out when necessary.
• Follow Daily Operating Instructions, communicate vital information, and maintain shift log sheets.
• Support environmental permit compliance, housekeeping, and incident investigations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of production experience.
• Math skills appropriate to the job, strong written and oral communication, and strong computer skills.
• Ability to think ahead, coordinate proactively, manage pressure, and detect process abnormalities through close attention to detail.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, outdoors for short periods, and in a dusty carbon environment.
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours, walk for up to one hour, hear warning signals, and wear protective eye and hearing equipment.
