What you will do

• Develop and deliver hirify.global UK's public affairs strategy and stakeholder engagement plans.
• Build relationships with Ministers, Parliamentarians, Special Advisers, civil servants, industry partners and other stakeholders.
• Monitor political, policy and regulatory developments and assess their impact on hirify.global UK and the wider defence sector.
• Support UK and international business campaigns through targeted government and stakeholder engagement.
• Provide political and policy insight for business planning, market positioning and strategic decision-making.
• Prepare executive briefings, stakeholder plans, speeches, correspondence and meeting notes while coordinating engagement across hirify.global UK and the wider hirify.global Group.

Requirements

• Significant experience in public affairs, government relations, policy or stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent understanding of UK political institutions, parliamentary processes and government decision-making.
• Strong knowledge of the UK political and policy environment, including defence, security, industrial and economic policy.
• Experience managing senior relationships across government, Parliament and industry.
• Strong political judgement, analytical ability, written and verbal communication skills, and experience preparing executive briefings.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while collaborating across functions and teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in defence, aerospace, security or advanced technology.
• Knowledge of defence procurement, export campaigns and international government engagement.
• Familiarity with NATO, AUKUS, European and Nordic defence and security policy.
• Experience with trade associations, industry bodies and representative organisations.
• Knowledge of UK industrial strategy, defence policy and international trade issues.
