Cryogenic Field Service Technician

Location: Kalamazoo, Michigan, United States; field work at hirify.global and customer sites

What you will do

• Install and maintain on-site nitrogen generation plants and bulk medical or industrial gas systems.
• Support cryogenic bulk installations at hirify.global facilities and customer sites.
• Restore and optimize pressure reduction equipment, electrical systems, alarms, piping, and liquid leak repairs.
• Perform site surveys, annual evaluations, and scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure compliance and operational reliability.
• Maintain installation parts inventory, safety signage, fencing, and hazard identification.
• Respond to emergencies, explain technical information to customers and employees, and support the wider team as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must hold or obtain a Certified Brazer Certificate within 30 days of employment.
• At least two years of industrial field service experience, preferably with gas generation systems.
• Working knowledge of cryogenic and high-pressure gases, pressure piping, compressors, electrical systems, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform field work in Kalamazoo and customer locations, including emergency coverage 24 hours per day when scheduled.

Nice to have

• HVAC or refrigeration certification.
• ASSE Medical Gas Credentials.
• Electrical, regulator repair, silver brazing, and piping or liquid leak repair experience.
• Knowledge of NFPA 99 and NFPA 55 requirements.
