Operations Superintendent - Fairless Hills

Location: Onsite in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania, in the Philadelphia PA area. Requires work in all weather conditions, all shifts, weekends, and periodic response to emergencies on a 24/7 basis.

What you will do

• Work under the direction of the terminal manager to support operational objectives and compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Ensure production objectives meet EHS, customer, quality, and operational standards.
• Develop, instruct, motivate, and direct the terminal workforce in accordance with company standards.
• Implement safety, quality, and environmental initiatives, work permits, site-specific procedures, and training programs.
• Prepare operational areas for internal and external audits, organize inspections, conduct monthly safety committee meetings, and maintain terminal records.
• Interface with customers, regulators, company personnel, and other stakeholders while identifying safer, more efficient, and cost-effective operating practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with products, transportation modes, and methods for handling dry bulk materials.
• Effective verbal and written communication with a diverse workforce and the ability to provide direction.
• Proficiency with computers, databases, internet search engines, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Ability to take initiative, work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment, and support emergency response requirements.
