Supt, Terminal (Fertilizer Operations)

What you will do

• Oversee all aspects of a liquid fertilizer storage and handling facility, prioritizing safety, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Manage facility personnel, including leadership, performance evaluation, training, and development.
• Coordinate product receipt and shipment, inventory management, recordkeeping, and product quality controls.
• Administer emergency, preventive, and contract maintenance, including troubleshooting and equipment upkeep.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and compliance with OSHA, DOT, state, federal, and local requirements.
• Lead facility safety programs, inspections, emergency exercises, first-aid readiness, and incident-command activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree is preferred.
• Experience with NH3 storage and handling and/or dry-product warehousing.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, including compressors and pumps.
• Experience managing people and operational processes.
• Good written and oral communication skills; computer, order-processing, word-processing, and software skills are preferred.
• Ability to lift approximately 80 pounds, climb ladders, work at heights, wear personal protective equipment, and perform physical work in varying weather conditions.
