Ops Supervisor Hauling (Waste Management)

What you will do

• Supervise drivers and helpers across commercial, residential, roll-off, and container delivery or pickup operations.
• Lead safety and accident-prevention programs and remove unsafe conditions from routes and customer sites.
• Resolve unusual service requests, equipment breakdowns, schedule changes, and customer issues.
• Set productivity goals, manage labor hours and disposal expenses, and improve route density and efficiency.
• Coordinate with sales and maintenance teams to support service delivery, fleet quality, and equipment compliance.
• Build employee engagement through communication, coaching, talent development, and advancement planning.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.
• Ability to direct a large staff and build high-performance teams.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, critical-thinking, decision-making, and judgment skills.
• Process-oriented and results-oriented approach to achieving operational goals.
