Transportation Supervisor

Salary: $73,000–$110,000 annual, plus bonus and/or incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Oversee the safe and efficient operation of the assigned MedTrans fleet.
• Optimize daily routes and transportation activities based on branch workloads, fleet capacity, and customer orders.
• Schedule and dispatch vehicles and drivers while ensuring operational efficiency.
• Ensure drivers receive required training and conduct meetings in accordance with DOT and company policies.
• Maintain fleet equipment according to the MedTrans vehicle maintenance policy.
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, discipline, assign, and review the work of drivers and other employees.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience managing and dispatching drivers and using routing software.
• At least two years of experience coaching, mentoring, and training staff.
• Intermediate knowledge of transportation costing and motor carrier operations.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Compliance with applicable state Department of Transportation and company regulations.
