Transportation Manager (Logistics)

Location: 30852 San Antonio St, Hayward, CA 94544, USA; full-time onsite role supporting 24-hour operations, including nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency on-call coverage.

Salary: $135,000–$150,000 annually plus a 15% Team Achievement Bonus.

What you will do

• Lead recruitment, training, coaching, performance management, and employee relations for the Delivery & Service department.
• Develop departmental plans, policies, procedures, budgets, payroll approvals, reports, and cost-containment initiatives.
• Manage fleet performance, preventive maintenance, leasing invoices, fuel compliance, vehicle assignments, and fleet standards.
• Optimize driver schedules, dynamic routing, route assignments, and delivery accuracy to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor driver hours, camera footage, logs, qualification files, route observations, and required transportation documentation for DOT and company compliance.
• Build relationships with franchisees, store managers, leasing representatives, and other stakeholders; handle customer concerns and assess delivery access at new stores.

Requirements

• Two-year degree or equivalent professional experience required; a bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, transportation, or a related field is preferred.
• 3–5 years of progressive transportation and logistics experience in operational management.
• 3–5 years of supervisory or management experience leading and developing teams.
• Experience managing transportation operations, fleet management, and logistics functions.
• Working knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations, compliance requirements, and safety standards.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, fleet management systems expertise, routing optimization knowledge, and strong analytical and communication abilities.
