Director, Mergers & Acquisitions (Defence & Security)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end acquisitions, divestments, minority investments, and joint ventures.
• Manage valuation, due diligence, negotiation, structuring, signing, closing, and post-closing follow-up.
• Partner with Business Areas and Business Units to assess strategic opportunities and investment cases.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders and external advisors throughout transaction processes.
• Evaluate venture and minority investment opportunities and support portfolio management.
• Improve hirify.global’s M&A processes, tools, and methodologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading complex transactions from origination and strategic assessment through negotiation and closing.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, deal structuring, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of the legal and commercial aspects of acquisitions, divestments, and minority investments.
• 8–15+ years of relevant experience in M&A, investment banking, private equity, corporate development, transaction advisory, or a similar field.
• International transaction experience across multiple markets and business environments.
• Ability to pass security vetting; additional citizenship obligations may apply for positions requiring security clearance.

• Experience with minority investments, corporate venture capital, or portfolio management.
