Group Business Controller

What you will do

• Own and lead Group management reporting and performance management across Group and local Finance teams.
• Develop reporting frameworks, performance metrics, management presentations, processes, and governance for a rapidly scaling organisation.
• Lead the development of automated, scalable, and data-driven reporting infrastructure, reducing reliance on manual Excel processes.
• Prepare and present business performance reviews and Board-level reporting, translating financial and operational data into insights and recommendations.
• Analyse performance across markets and operating companies, identify value creation opportunities, and support concrete improvement actions.
• Support M&A activities, finance transformation, strategic initiatives, and the scaling of the Group Business Control function.

Requirements

• Significant experience in Group Finance, Business Control, FP&A, financial advisory, M&A, or a similar commercially oriented finance environment.
• Strong experience in financial analysis, performance management, and management reporting within a complex, international, or high-growth organisation.
• Excellent financial modelling, Excel, PowerPoint, and presentation skills.
• Experience driving finance transformation, improving reporting processes, or building scalable finance capabilities.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools or advanced analytics for finance processes, reporting automation, forecasting, insight generation, or decision support.
• Ability to work with senior and executive stakeholders, communicate complex financial topics clearly, and influence decision-making.

Nice to have

• Experience with Aaro, Business Central, or similar reporting and consolidation tools.
• Experience building or scaling Group Finance, Business Control, FP&A, or performance management functions.
• Experience in a high-growth, international, or private-equity-backed environment.
• Background in financial due diligence, management consulting, audit, or M&A integrations.
