Financial Controller (Marketplace)

hirify.global is a profitable, fast-growing pet marketplace scale-up using technology and AI to help people find pets safely and transparently across international markets.

What you will do

• Own the group’s monthly close and improve reporting consistency, accuracy, and speed through automation.
• Manage controllership for international subsidiaries and coordinate with local accounting firms.
• Run group consolidation across multiple entities and currencies.
• Manage EOR and payroll administration as the business hires across markets.
• Operate treasury and banking, including cash management, payments, and foreign exchange.
• Report to the Head of Finance and work closely with the accountant and external partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience with companies that have international subsidiaries.
• Strong understanding of multi-entity and multi-currency consolidation under K3; IFRS is a plus.
• Proven NetSuite experience.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills.
• Fluent Swedish and English.

Nice to have

• Experience with EOR platforms, spend management tools, and payment infrastructure systems.
• Background in classifieds, marketplaces, or other digital businesses.
