Senior Manager, Operational Accounting

Location: Dallas, TX - Headquarters; in-office role

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop the Seller A/R Manager, billing team, and related support resources across a 35+ person operational accounting function.
• Set priorities, sequence initiatives, assess team capacity, and strengthen accountability and operating discipline.
• Oversee seller billing quality, including billing exception review, corrections, documentation, root-cause analysis, and prevention of recurring errors.
• Direct oversight of seller receivables activities, including proceeds payments, payment application, collections, aging management, backlog monitoring, and escalations.
• Partner with Operations, Sales, Technology, and General Ledger Accounting to resolve complex billing and receivables issues.
• Use reporting, ticketing queues, AI, automation, and internal and third-party billing systems to improve accuracy, visibility, workflows, and scalability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field preferred.
• Significant experience in billing, receivables, accounting operations, financial operations, revenue operations, process improvement, or a comparable high-volume transactional environment.
• Prior leadership experience is required, including experience managing managers, leads, or large operational teams.
• Ability to improve processes, build structure, drive accountability, analyze trends, diagnose root causes, and create practical action plans.
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Technology, Accounting, or similar stakeholders.
• Experience with AI, automation, data analysis, or reporting tools is preferred.
