Sr AR Manager

Location: Denton, Texas, USA or Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. Primarily office and computer-based work; approximately 20% business travel to meetings, sites, and customers. PPE may be required when visiting manufacturing or plant locations.

What you will do

• Develop and execute the North America Accounts Receivable and Order-to-Cash strategy.
• Lead Credit, Collections, Cash Application, customer master data, dispute resolution, and AR governance teams.
• Partner with Finance, Sales, Operations, Customer Service, Treasury, Legal, and Commercial Excellence to improve working capital and customer payment performance.
• Own regional KPIs and reporting for DSO, overdue receivables, bad debt, collections productivity, cash forecasting, and cash conversion.
• Lead O2C transformation, automation, digitization, process standardization, and change management initiatives.
• Build organizational capability through leadership development, succession planning, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections, Order-to-Cash, or Working Capital Management.
• 7+ years of leadership experience managing managers and large, geographically dispersed teams.
• Experience leading regional or multinational AR organizations, shared services operations, process transformation, and automation.
• Expertise in O2C processes, credit risk, collections, dispute resolution, cash application, receivables accounting, working capital, and cash flow management.
• Professional fluency in English is required; bilingual English and Spanish is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA.
• CPA, CMA, CTP, or equivalent professional certification.
• Experience with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, BlackLine, reporting and analytics platforms, and AR automation technologies.
• Manufacturing, industrial, B2B, Shared Services Center, or Global Business Services experience.
