TL;DR
Revenue Manager (Revenue Accounting/Insurtech): Leading accounting, analytics, reporting, and governance for commissions and related contract assets under ASC 606 with an accent on LTV estimates, financial reporting, data analytics, and process automation. Focus on building scalable Snowflake-based models, designing ICFR controls, supporting SOX and public-company reporting, and translating operational commission activity into accurate executive insights.
Location: Dallas, Texas; must be in the office at least 4 days a week

What you will do
- Lead the accounting framework for commissions, LTV estimates, revenue recognition, and related contract assets under ASC 606.
- Develop and maintain revenue, LTV, contract asset, cash, reconciliation, and reporting models.
- Use Snowflake, data platforms, automation, and AI-enabled solutions to improve accounting efficiency, controls, and reporting.
- Lead monthly and quarterly revenue accounting close activities, MD&A, flux analysis, executive reporting, and financial statement support.
- Design and monitor ICFR controls, support SOX activities, audits, walkthroughs, testing, and remediation.
- Lead finance transformation, ERP, reporting modernization, acquisition integration, and process centralization initiatives while mentoring Revenue Accounting team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting or public-company reporting experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ASC 606, accounting estimates, financial reporting, internal controls, and SOX-compliant environments.
- Experience building complex financial and analytical models and interpreting large datasets into actionable insights.
- Experience with Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Alteryx, or similar analytics platforms is preferred.
- Strong cross-functional leadership, communication, presentation, mentoring, and stakeholder-management skills.
Nice to have
- Active CPA certification.
- Experience with automation, technology-enabled accounting processes, ERP implementations, or finance transformation.
