Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Telemetry - Full Time - Nights

Location: Nashua, New Hampshire, United States; onsite night shift, 7 p.m.–7 a.m., every other weekend

What you will do

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adolescent and adult patients with medical and surgical diagnoses.
• Care for cardiac patients and patients recovering from cardiac invasive procedures.
• Monitor telemetry and support patients with cardiac, stroke, pulmonary, renal, endocrine, and other conditions.
• Assess patient needs, prioritize care, and establish care goals.
• Integrate patient values, evidence, and best practices into care delivery.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team within the nursing scope of practice.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with an ADN or BSN.
• Registered Nurse license in the state of New Hampshire is required.
• At least two years of recent experience in a cardiac telemetry unit.
• Obtain Basic Life Support competency within 30 days.
• Develop competency in intravenous therapy, central line management, rhythm interpretation, critical care medications and infusions, post-vascular access care, and peritoneal dialysis within the specified orientation period.
• Obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support competency within 18 months.
