Business Licensing Specialist (Automotive)

What you will do

• Review and process business license and permit applications and renewal forms.
• Authenticate documents, collect missing information, and coordinate with state agencies.
• Compile and submit complete license applications and renewal packets.
• Collaborate with operations, Corporate Licensing, peers, and executive personnel to obtain documents and signatures.
• Maintain accurate records and licensing databases, and prepare summary reports for management.
• Research and resolve licensing issues while supporting compliance goals and meeting strict deadlines.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of operations or business licensing experience preferred.
• Education and/or experience equivalent to a two-year degree in business.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• High accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and licensing records.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, multitasking ability, and capacity to meet tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience with Avalara License Management Software.
