Corporate Counsel (Commercial Contracts)

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States; minimum three full days per week in the office

What you will do

• Draft, review, edit, and negotiate supply, sales, licensing, purchase and sale, consulting, lease, and other commercial agreements.
• Develop, implement, and refine contract templates.
• Monitor relevant laws and regulations, provide legal interpretations, and support policy and procedure drafting.
• Advise business units on legal risks related to activities and initiatives.
• Assist with small-scale litigation, including response preparation and settlement negotiations.
• Support additional legal projects and business needs as assigned.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership.
• At least five years of experience as a transactional attorney.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to handle a broad range of legal matters.
• Ability to travel and work in an office at least three full days per week.
