CNC Operator I

What you will do

• Operate and troubleshoot NC, CNC, milling, and turning machines, including minor setup activities.
• Use micrometers, verniers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify parts against blueprints and specifications.
• Inspect machined components for defects and complete quality documentation and RTY data recordings.
• Read blueprints, Heijunka cards, and routing sheets to follow machining sequences, production lines, work centers, and run-time requirements.
• Clean and maintain tools, machines, and work areas according to 5S procedures.
• Escalate safety and machining issues and participate in continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Basic mathematics skills and the ability to use precision measuring instruments.
• High school education.
• 0–1 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to sustain moderate physical effort, including lifting, bending, carrying, and twisting while working with light to medium-weight materials.
• Strong mental, visual, and physical dexterity for planning and performing complex work to close tolerances.
