CNC Machining Operator 2 (2nd Shift)

Location: Rolling Meadows, Illinois, United States; onsite, second shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with overtime and weekend hours as needed

Salary: $20.31–$29.45 per hour

What you will do

• Set up and operate CNC and manual mills, lathes, and drill presses, including changeovers and offset adjustments.
• Perform first-time equipment setups for new products through programming, tool setting, and offset adjustments.
• Load and unload parts, deburr and clean components, and perform other manual production operations.
• Inspect machined parts visually and dimensionally using precision measuring instruments.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly machine maintenance activities.
• Maintain organized work areas and follow safety rules and 5S standards.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, or otherwise qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR; eligibility to access export-controlled information will be verified.
• At least 5 years of experience setting up and operating CNC and/or manual machining equipment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings, including GD&T.
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; availability for second-shift, overtime, and weekend work as required.
