CNC Operator Level 3 - 2nd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Columbia, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite at the plant. This is a second-shift position with weekend and overtime availability required as needed.

Salary: $36.93 per hour

What you will do

• Operate and set up CNC mills and lathes using blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, and reference points.
• Configure CNC equipment by entering instructions, zero and reference points, tool registers, offsets, and proven part programs.
• Load workpieces, verify machine settings, measure positions, and inspect first-run and sample parts.
• Maintain part specifications by monitoring tool wear, changing or sharpening inserts, editing programs, and troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Meet production targets for cycle time, quantity, and quality while following quality assurance procedures.
• Support higher- and lower-level CNC associates through troubleshooting, new-product setup, guidance, and coaching.

Requirements

• Ability to perform CNC Level 1 and Level 2 requirements and operate all required CNC equipment.
• Good working knowledge of M and G codes.
• Demonstrated mechanical ability and basic math skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively and follow written policies and procedures.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Availability for weekend and overtime assignments as required.
