CNC Operator

Location: Oconomowoc, WI, US; onsite

Salary: $28–$30 per hour

What you will do

• Safely operate conventional and Swiss CNC machines to produce high-quality parts.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing documentation.
• Apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing standards and maintain tight dimensional tolerances.
• Measure and document part dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Set up and touch off tools, change tooling, and complete inspection and production records.
• Monitor machine performance, report quality or equipment concerns, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of CNC operating experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable work ethic and excellent attendance.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Experience with CNC lathes and machining centers.
• Familiarity with shop math and machining calculations.
• Background in job shop or short-run manufacturing environments.
