Senior Software Engineer (Salesforce)

Location: Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada; work remotely or onsite during regular business hours

Salary: CAD 88,270–110,340 per year

What you will do

• Analyze, develop, and support Salesforce-centric integrations.
• Deliver maintainable, testable software and provide technical leadership.
• Develop test classes and automated test scripts, perform code reviews, and support quality assurance.
• Translate high-level business requirements into technical tasks and contribute to estimation with Product Owners.
• Collaborate with software engineering, QA, DevOps, architecture, and business stakeholders to ensure production quality and reliability.
• Participate in Agile Scrum practices, systems maintenance, mentoring, and critical after-hours production support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of software development experience, with a focus on Salesforce-related integrations.
• Experience with APIs, asynchronous messaging, event-driven systems, pub/sub, message ordering, retries, data modeling, and ETL methodologies.
• Knowledge of secure integration practices and end-to-end integration testing, including API, contract, performance, and load testing.
• Technical experience with Salesforce Platform Events and CDC, Boomi, Enterprise Kafka, Oracle EBS, and Oracle Fusion Cloud.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, monitoring tools, testing tools, API documentation, and AI-assisted code generation.
