Compensation: $65.00–$75.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

What you will do
- Partner with the Director to execute live and pre-recorded broadcasts.
- Maintain show timing and track rundown elements throughout each broadcast.
- Manage video, graphics, and production assets in newsroom and playout systems.
- Cue and roll video using Bit Central and other production systems.
- Coordinate with Master Control on commercial breaks, timing adjustments, and operational changes.
- Support breaking news coverage and collaborate with production teams in New York, Chicago, and Washington, DC.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a broadcast control room, production environment, or network news operation.
- Experience timing live broadcasts and managing rundown elements.
- Familiarity with newsroom computer systems such as iNews or ENPS.
- Strong communication, organizational, multitasking, and detail-oriented skills.
- Availability for flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours during major news events.
- DGA membership in good standing is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with automated production and video playout systems.
