Senior Operational Technology (OT) Application Engineer

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States; candidates near other TRC offices may also be considered. Travel to customer sites is required, averaging 25%.

Salary: USD $98,009.60–$175,000 per year. Eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus may apply.

What you will do

• Lead or co-lead the technical delivery of small to medium OT application projects, owning the technical scope and dependencies.
• Develop and execute system build plans covering software architecture, information security, and hardware deployment.
• Configure and train customers on Outage Management Systems and related utility operational technologies.
• Implement control systems for electric utilities while meeting contractual requirements and specifications.
• Perform system and acceptance testing with end customers and resolve complex technical issues.
• Develop scripts and middleware to integrate third-party systems, including deployments and testing at customer sites.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in application engineering or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Experience with SCADA/EMS/DMS products from providers such as GE, OSII, ABB, AVEVA, or Siemens.
• Industry experience with SCADA, ADMS, OMS, or Switch Order Management Systems.
• Experience supporting critical operational or information technology systems.
• Technical knowledge of networking, security, operating systems, virtual environments, and systems integration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience; willingness to travel is required.
