Senior OT Application Engineer

Location: Austin, Texas, United States

Salary: USD 91,603.20–150,000 per year, plus potential participation in an annual discretionary bonus program.

What you will do

• Design, plan, integrate, test, and commission complex control-system hardware and software for electric and gas utility clients.
• Install and configure OSI Monarch applications for ADMS and EMS environments on on-premise or cloud servers.
• Execute end-to-end deployments, including hardware and software installation, integration, and functional validation.
• Analyze system variances, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Create technical documentation and training materials for system deployment and customer enablement.
• Communicate progress and technical issues to technical leads, project managers, clients, and other delivery workstreams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of project engineering experience with AspenTech OSI applications.
• Knowledge of OSI Monarch applications and systems, including prior AspenTech PE training and related tasks.
• Basic programming skills in C and Python, with familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Understanding of IT/OT architecture, networking fundamentals, relational and time-series databases, and SCADA, DMS, OMS, RTU, or PLC-based control systems.
• Ability to travel to customer locations for project-related activities, manage multiple projects, and apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
