Sales Finance Manager

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid model with 3 days per week in the office and 2 days from home

What you will do

• Lead weekly and monthly financial controls, trade-performance reviews, and budget-management routines with sales teams and senior leadership.
• Coordinate financial analyses and business cases across customer group, brand category, operations, and finance teams.
• Develop financial models and forecasts for sales, revenue, and profitability, translating trends into recommendations.
• Collaborate on annual and joint business plans, including sales forecasts, revenue-growth targets, and profitability goals.
• Analyze promotions, pricing, digital shelf performance, and assortment to inform commercial decisions and go-to-market strategies.
• Own negotiation strategy and deal structure for annual customer agreements, including pricing, terms, SLAs, incentives, and risk mitigation.

Requirements

• BS or MA degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, from a recognized university.
• 5–8 years of relevant professional experience; consulting or financial-analysis experience with a proven track record is valuable.
• Experience in revenue management or commercial finance is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge and practical application of Microsoft Office and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to simplify complex information.
• Ability to lead employees and ensure reliable financial processes, while taking ownership of business and problem-solving challenges.

Nice to have

• Experience as a consultant or financial analyst.
• Revenue management or commercial finance experience.
