Commercial Finance Manager

Location: Hybrid, with a minimum of 2 days per week in the London Victoria office, Melbourn office, or on client site. Applicants must be British citizens or have at least 5 years of continuous UK residency for roles requiring security clearance.

What you will do

• Partner with consulting business units and sector leadership to provide forward-looking financial analysis, performance reporting, and commercial guidance.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting, including variance analysis, forecasts, budgets, and sensitivity models.
• Support the full service-delivery lifecycle through bid modelling, pricing, job setup, profitability monitoring, invoicing, and closure.
• Manage contract and assignment risks, including open-book reporting, high-risk reviews, currency exposure, taxation, and interest implications.
• Oversee working capital, payment terms, debt collection, subcontractor arrangements, and procure-to-pay processes.
• Lead audit readiness, IFRS template preparation, internal controls, SOX compliance, and coordination with external auditors.

Requirements

• Equivalent of a UK 2:1 degree.
• Qualified accountant with CIMA, ACCA, or ACA certification.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and managing cross-functional business relationships.
• Strong commercial acumen, advanced Excel skills, and data analysis experience.
• Previous line management experience.
• Eligibility for applicable UK security clearance may require British citizenship or 5 years of continuous UK residency.
