Senior Portfolio Finance Manager Future Markets (Energy)

What you will do

• Oversee project contract administration and establish processes that improve financial transparency.
• Partner with project managers to monitor budgets, financial performance, forecasts, and monthly accruals.
• Coordinate with construction subcontractors and maintenance providers to support timely, high-quality deliverables.
• Review project documentation, purchase requisitions, invoices, change orders, and supplier claims, including risk and opportunity analysis.
• Lead project financial reviews from initiation through close-out and provide accurate reporting without surprises.
• Monitor, audit, and reconcile project financials while ensuring compliance with import VAT, customs duties, and applicable tax requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, international finance, business administration, or equivalent training.
• At least 3 years of experience managing construction projects and long-term service contracts; energy industry experience is preferred.
• Advanced contract management and negotiation experience, with a strong understanding of project lifecycle financial implications.
• Proficiency with SAP, Unifier, corporate financial systems, and MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail, project management, communication, and financial analysis skills.
• Fluency in English and Italian is required. Willingness to travel up to 20% as projects require.
