hirify.global subsidiary Sturgeon Electric provides large-scale electrical construction services, including commercial and industrial, transmission, telecommunications, traffic signalization, gas distribution, and high-voltage projects.

What you will do

• Interpret construction drawings and assist with reviewing plans and specifications.
• Prepare contract-feature checklists, subcontractor submittal requirements, statements of work, and project reports.
• Support cost estimating, project scheduling, change management, and accurate project recordkeeping.
• Inspect equipment, materials, workmanship, and completed construction in the field.
• Monitor work progress and verify that procedures and materials meet required specifications.
• Promote construction safety and ensure compliance with applicable requirements.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in commercial electrical construction operations or general construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Intermediate or higher working knowledge of Microsoft Project and/or Primavera.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
