Electrical Construction Manager (Electrical Engineering)

What you will do

• Plan and schedule assigned electrical construction work and develop field construction deliverables.
• Review engineering packages and design drawings for constructability and completeness.
• Define safety procedures, labor estimates, materials, and work-order completion plans.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, suppliers, design firms, field crews, and subcontractors.
• Participate in shutdown and turnaround planning and manage construction costs and change orders.
• Interface with owners and engineers while coordinating multiple construction projects.

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management.
• 2–3 years of industrial construction experience.
• Experience with electrical construction, safety, and quality.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, time-management, collaboration, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to manage multiple projects.

Nice to have

• Understanding of LEAN principles.
• OSHA 30 training.
• Paper converting experience.
