Civil EIT (Civil Engineering)

What you will do

• Design multidisciplinary civil engineering and construction projects for public- and private-sector clients.
• Support transportation projects across Alaska.
• Prepare design drawings and engineering calculations for utility, site, and roadway improvements.
• Develop Civil 3D models, including corridors, grading, and pipe models.
• Calculate quantities and support cost estimating.
• Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary project teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Engineer-in-Training certification or the ability to obtain it within one year.
• Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; the role includes operating a company or personal vehicle for business travel.

Nice to have

• Construction experience.
• Experience with Civil 3D modeling, quantities, calculations, and cost estimating.
• Experience preparing drawings and calculations for utility, site, and roadway improvement projects.
