Construction Management Engineer (Energy)

Location: On-site in Brooklyn or White Plains, New York, United States, with frequent site visits across the greater NYC area. Monday–Friday, 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. third shift.

Salary: $70,000–$110,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage daily construction activities, project schedules, budgets, safety, and QA/QC.
• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, and other engineering and construction documents.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary designers, construction managers, contractors, and clients.
• Attend construction progress meetings and frequent site visits, resolving on-site issues and managing project risks.
• Direct subcontractors and support mechanical and electrical design professionals.
• Support project bidding and contractor evaluation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 2–5+ years of construction experience, including field construction management.
• Experience with construction management software such as Primavera or Procore.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, multitasking, and judgment skills.
• Ability to follow direction and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Reliable transportation for occasional job-site access and a valid driver’s license in good standing.

Nice to have

• OSHA 30-Hour certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
