2nd Shift Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: North Jackson, Ohio, United States; onsite, second shift

What you will do

• Lead second-shift production activities while maintaining safety, quality, compliance, cost effectiveness, and on-time delivery.
• Schedule and assign personnel and equipment, regulate workflow, and ensure daily production goals are met.
• Coach, motivate, develop, recruit, select, and train production associates.
• Identify and implement improvements to production methods, equipment performance, product quality, and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with the Director of Operations and Production Managers, communicate employee concerns, and resolve shift-level issues.
• Maintain equipment, tools, supplies, production procedures, and export-control practices within the unit.

Requirements

• One to three years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• One to three years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, organizational, and basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to follow procedures accurately and communicate effectively by telephone and in group meetings.
• Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
• Must comply with US export-control requirements; access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to US citizens and US permanent residents.
