Configuration Analyst (Aerospace & Defense)

What you will do

• Manage the configuration of engineering and manufacturing products through a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
• Plan and coordinate product structure preparation to meet customer, company, and industry requirements.
• Maintain accurate product data, including parts and Bills of Materials (BoMs).
• Audit Configuration Management system usage and verify product configuration.
• Work with multidisciplinary Engineering, Operations, and Program Management teams on projects of varying size.

Requirements

• Currently serving on active duty and eligible for the DoD SkillBridge program.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, with typically 0–2 or more years of relevant experience; relevant experience may substitute for education.
• Familiarity with multidisciplinary design and development teams.
• Exposure to Documentation Control Database systems.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required U.S. government authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience with PDM/PLM systems such as Windchill or Enovia 3DExperience and CAD tools such as SOLIDWORKS, Creo, NX, ProEngineer, AutoCAD, or CATIA.
• Aerospace and defense industry experience.
• Knowledge of product configuration, product structure development, engineering release and control processes, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with AS 9100, ISO 9001, EIA-649, MIL-HDBK-61, IEEE 828, or CMMI.
• Configuration Management certification or relevant military experience in information technology, aviation electronics, or cyber network operations.
