Senior Specialist, Configuration Management (Avionics)

What you will do

• Lead configuration management activities across multiple engineering and program projects.
• Maintain controlled work product data, including drawings, parts lists, software code, documentation, and product baselines.
• Facilitate and verify authorization for changes, additions, Engineering Change Memos, Contract Data Requirements Lists, and Notifications of Change.
• Prepare, review, format, and release engineering and program documentation, drawings, manuals, procedures, analyses, reports, and specifications.
• Coordinate customer data transfers through approved systems and portals while ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
• Improve configuration management methods, procedures, tools, reporting, and cross-functional execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of relevant experience, or at least 10 years of related experience in place of a degree.
• Experience with configuration management systems and workflows such as Aras Innovator, Serena Business Manager, Subversion, or similar PLM and CM tools.
• Experience entering and managing material master and bill of materials data in SAP or an equivalent ERP system.
• Experience preparing, formatting, reviewing, and releasing technical documentation and engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, documentation control, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of EIA-649 standards and foundational configuration management principles.
• Experience with Aras Innovator, Subversion, or Serena Business Manager.
• Experience using remote access and collaboration tools.
