Operations Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, United States; on-site manufacturing facility

What you will do

• Lead first-line supervisors, production employees, maintenance staff, and other support functions.
• Monitor throughput, quality, cycle time, cost, delivery, and safety performance against departmental goals.
• Implement actions and continuous improvement initiatives to improve delivery, yield, quality, cost, cycle time, and safety.
• Partner with engineering and technical teams on equipment evaluation, procurement, installation, troubleshooting, and process enhancement.
• Plan and manage the departmental budget and develop reporting for labor utilization, productivity, and cost analysis.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, customers, and internal support groups to meet production and customer requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• At least five years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with budgets, cost analysis, financial concepts, and reporting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, written, verbal communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage changing production requirements and employee-relations issues with minimal supervision.
• Must comply with US export-control requirements, including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC. Access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to US citizens and US permanent residents.
