Location: On-site in Houston, Texas, United States

What you will do

  • Plan, develop, implement, and manage student development programs and activities for the Student Affairs Office.
  • Maintain student information databases and coordinate communication with incoming students during matriculation.
  • Manage the M1/M2 Buddy Program, wellbeing initiatives, attestation forms, graduation clearances, class-rank letters, and academic records.
  • Provide administrative support for wellness programs and the M4 HEAL Capstone, including MSPE preparation and ERAS uploads.
  • Plan and execute major events, including New Student Orientation, the Medical School White Coat ceremony, Match Day, HEAL Capstone, and Commencement.
  • Maintain program documentation, analyze program data, prepare reports and presentations, and monitor compliance with university policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least four years of program coordination, program development, or closely related experience.
  • Strong communication, organizational, multitasking, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
  • Ability to interpret and follow university and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Availability to work on-site in Houston, Texas.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience planning and implementing student development programs and activities.
  • Experience with academic advising or tutoring-program coordination.
  • Professional experience in higher education or a medical setting.
  • Knowledge of Texas A&M University System policies and procedures.
