What you will do

  • Coordinate course information, calendars, schedules, room reservations, Zoom sessions, examinations, proctors, and course initiation meetings.
  • Manage and administer assigned courses in learning management systems and other required software applications.
  • Coordinate the preparation and dissemination of curriculum materials across Pre-Clerkship, curricular blocks, threads, and engineering courses.
  • Serve as an administrative liaison between faculty, course co-directors, students, staff, and supporting academic technology, marketing, and communications offices.
  • Lead meetings, special projects, and teams related to the Pre-Clerkship curriculum while helping resolve student and faculty concerns.
  • Coordinate accreditation data, curriculum mapping, faculty contact-hour tracking, and adherence to institutional policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Four years of program administration experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, maintain confidentiality, lead meetings, and manage projects with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work in the Houston-based School of Engineering Medicine environment.

Nice to have

  • Background in medical education, business administration, or management.
  • Professional experience in higher education or a medical setting.
  • Experience with learning management systems, Canvas, Progress IQ, or ExamSoftware.
  • Knowledge of Texas A&M University System policies and regulations and Texas A&M University rules.
