What you will do
- Coordinate course information, calendars, schedules, room reservations, Zoom sessions, examinations, proctors, and course initiation meetings.
- Manage and administer assigned courses in learning management systems and other required software applications.
- Coordinate the preparation and dissemination of curriculum materials across Pre-Clerkship, curricular blocks, threads, and engineering courses.
- Serve as an administrative liaison between faculty, course co-directors, students, staff, and supporting academic technology, marketing, and communications offices.
- Lead meetings, special projects, and teams related to the Pre-Clerkship curriculum while helping resolve student and faculty concerns.
- Coordinate accreditation data, curriculum mapping, faculty contact-hour tracking, and adherence to institutional policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Four years of program administration experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, maintain confidentiality, lead meetings, and manage projects with limited supervision.
- Ability to work in the Houston-based School of Engineering Medicine environment.
Nice to have
- Background in medical education, business administration, or management.
- Professional experience in higher education or a medical setting.
- Experience with learning management systems, Canvas, Progress IQ, or ExamSoftware.
- Knowledge of Texas A&M University System policies and regulations and Texas A&M University rules.
