Program Coordinator II - Psychiatry Residency

What you will do

• Coordinate and administer the Psychiatry Residency in partnership with the program director.
• Maintain resident training files and coordinate scheduling, duty-hour compliance, evaluations, and curriculum delivery.
• Administer the New Innovations residency management software and train faculty and residents in its use.
• Support resident and faculty recruitment, onboarding, alumni relations, communications, website management, and program marketing.
• Coordinate accreditation readiness, Program Evaluation Committee and Clinical Competency Committee processes, and regulatory affairs.
• Plan special events and projects, including meetings, graduation ceremonies, white coat events, and on-site recruitment activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least four years of residency program, medical education, or undergraduate education program coordination experience.
• Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, multitasking ability, and ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Knowledge or experience in event planning and/or project management.
• Ability to work at the Bryan, Texas location and comply with security-sensitive employment requirements, including a criminal history investigation.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Five years of residency or medical education program coordination experience, particularly in psychiatry or behavioral health.
• Current C-TAGME certification.
• Experience with instructional design, curriculum development, ACGME or CLER visits, and New Innovations.
