What you will do
- Plan, implement, and execute special events, programs, and conferences for Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station and the College of Engineering.
- Supervise and coordinate event personnel, vendors, and student support staff.
- Maintain and support the events management system.
- Support departmental, college, and center events and conferences.
- Lead projects involving new college-wide event policies and procedures.
- Prepare post-event analysis, budget summaries, and participation feedback, and manage Departmental Event Liaison education and communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least two years of related event experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to learn online reservation systems, track details, think critically, adapt quickly, and solve problems creatively.
- Must complete U.S. employment eligibility verification and provide acceptable documents for authorization to work in the United States.

- Administrative experience.
