Senior Superintendent, Heavy Civil - Michels Construction, Inc.

Location: Renton, WA; requires travel and commitment to long-term onsite projects

Expected salary range: $145,000–$218,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Coordinate field schedules, resources, materials, tooling, and project execution.
• Communicate project scope to Foremen and coordinate closely with the Project Manager.
• Lead client meetings and support effective subcontractor coordination.
• Ensure safety processes, including JSAs and inspections, are completed.
• Verify daily QA/QC activities, as-built documentation, time records, and field reports.
• Develop Foremen and trade staff while maintaining safe and consistent operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related construction industry experience and/or training.
• Experience with structural concrete construction and subcontract management.
• Valid driver license for the vehicle types driven and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel and work on long-term onsite projects.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments under tight deadlines and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of forming systems, mix designs, and admixtures.
• Experience with evolving construction technology.
