Operator II, Powders (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Ames, Iowa, United States; 1st shift

Salary: $20.00 per hour, plus bonus pay.

What you will do

• Manufacture and package powdered products according to work orders, build signals, specifications, and standard operating procedures.
• Gather materials, set up and operate production equipment, label printers, and manual or powered equipment.
• Perform inspections, weight checks, quality control documentation, and material traceability activities using Real SPC and Billo.
• Use Oracle for material movements, work order transactions, scrap entry, and related production records.
• Complete safety checks, routine equipment checks, basic troubleshooting, cycle counts, and inventory organization.
• Coordinate with the Planner, Lead, and Manager to prioritize work and meet production demand.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Ability to learn machine operations, including setup and changeover, and/or kitting.
• Ability to work with manual and/or powered equipment where required.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow safety practices, standard operating procedures, quality checks, assigned training, and personal protective equipment requirements.

Nice to have

• One year of applicable production experience.
• One year of mechanical experience or equivalent.
