System QA Engineer

Location: On-site at least four days per week at the hirify.global Center in Maplewood, Minnesota, United States. Domestic travel may be required up to 10%. Relocation may be authorized.

Compensation: $124,127–$151,710, including base pay and eligible variable incentive pay.

What you will do

• Develop, document, maintain, and execute manual and automated test procedures.
• Create and implement automated test software in virtual environments and on physical industrial hardware.
• Coordinate testing schedules with developers and engineers across projects.
• Optimize test procedures using a continuous improvement approach.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to establish software QA procedures and standards.
• Support broader team needs beyond traditional QA activities when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or engineering.
• At least five years of combined experience in software QA, systems QA, software development, or integrated hardware/software systems development in a production environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.
• Ability to work on-site at the Maplewood, Minnesota facility at least four days per week.
• Ability to manage multiple releases, work independently, meet deadlines, and solve problems.

Nice to have

• Experience with industrial software and hardware.
• Experience with Python, C++, C#, or other programming languages.
• Experience with industrial robots such as Fanuc, Yaskawa, or Kuka.
• Strong leadership, networking, adaptability, and hands-on self-starter orientation.
