Team Lead, Software QA Engineer

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States; hybrid work model with onsite attendance 3 days per week.

Target salary range: $124,900–$125,200 annually.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain test scripts for IT data projects, including database validation with SQL queries and API testing with Postman.
• Lead manual and automated testing to ensure comprehensive platform coverage using Leapwork, Selenium, Python, Java, and JavaScript.
• Evaluate testing strategies and analyze complex data-related issues involving multiple variable factors.
• Identify, triage, document, prioritize, and resolve incidents affecting internal data systems.
• Collaborate with development teams to diagnose defects and improve software quality and delivery speed.
• Drive CI/CD, version control, Git branching strategies, and pipeline management using Git and Azure DevOps.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Six years of experience as a software quality assurance engineer or in a related occupation.
• Six years of experience with Python, Java, JavaScript, Leapwork, Selenium, database testing, SQL data validation, and API testing with Postman or similar tools.
• Six years of experience with CI/CD, DevOps integration, Git, version control systems, and Git branching strategies.
• Six years of experience analyzing complex issues and applying an integrated understanding of organizational data ecosystems.
