Select Commercial Lines Account Executive (Commercial Insurance)

Location: Hybrid — Uniondale, New York, United States

Salary: $85,000–$95,000 per year, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Provide proactive, personalized account management for Select Commercial Lines clients generating $10,000–$15,000 in revenue.
• Analyze coverage options, compare carrier quotes, and recommend appropriate insurance programs.
• Market and place renewals, manage renewal workflows, and prevent lapses in coverage.
• Build carrier relationships and negotiate on clients’ behalf to secure appropriate pricing and coverage.
• Support new-business sales, cross-selling opportunities, and meetings with prospective clients.
• Maintain account performance standards, manage invoicing and collections, and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a Commercial Property & Casualty insurance agency.
• Current Property & Casualty insurance license required.
• Strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance and commercial account management.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex tasks independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Comfort with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office; Sagitta/ImageRight knowledge is preferred.

Nice to have

• College degree.
• Industry designation such as ARM, CIC, or CPCU.
• Knowledge of Sagitta/ImageRight.
